Welcome back, and hopefully this finds you ready for another great year as a student/athlete at Nease High School.
This letter is to let you know of our start/finish dates for Fall Baseball, and what will be expected from you as a prospective member of the Baseball program. We will have defined expectations for you as an individual, but most importantly will be those goals that need to be reached as a team.
WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO DO IF WE ARE TO SUCCEED???
Included in the Fall will be the opportunity to showcase your talents at a few selected college tournaments. We will be making our trip to St. Leo again this fall, and expect to play in at least one more college event. Dates will be sent soon.
Practice will begin on Tuesday, September 7th, at 4:15 pm. Make sure you have all baseball equipment that you will need. Make sure you have cleats and turf/tennis shoes as well. We will be running on hard surfaces as well as the field, so proper soles will be needed.
We will practice from 4:15 to aprox. 6:15 (dark) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesdays will be used for controlled scrimmages.
We will run our younger group in the MSA Fall league. That league will include a 12 game schedule. Dates to follow. Our older players will condition during our practice days and we encourage all to play on whatever teams they choose. We will not run a travel style fall with the exception of the selected college dates.

Nease athletics does not receive funds from the county. It is up to each sport to raise funds. Baseball needs you! Join the Golden Panther Booster Club and designate funds towards Baseball.
